{"id":10292,"date":"2019-05-10T12:00:09","date_gmt":"2019-05-10T15:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=10292"},"modified":"2019-05-10T12:00:09","modified_gmt":"2019-05-10T15:00:09","slug":"minimal-traffic-disruption-expected-from-water-main-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=10292","title":{"rendered":"Minimal traffic disruption expected from water main work"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FALL RIVER: <\/strong>Halifax Water says work will begin in mid-May on the water main on Miller Lake Road in Fall River, lasting 12 weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an email James Campbell, spokesman for the company, said a notice was delivered to residents on the street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201c<\/strong>This\n work will impact traffic for a day or two on Hwy 2 and the intersection\n of Miller Lake Rd. in a couple of weeks or so,\u201d Said Campbell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Campbell\n said a Public Service Announcement will be issued in advance of the \ntraffic impact as part of the work. He was responding to rumours of a \n12-week traffic disruption at the Fall River roundabout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said Dexter Construction will be doing some cleanup work from last year\u2019s water main project over the next couple of months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis may result in occasional lane drops, but no impact near the roundabout,\u201d said Campbell.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FALL RIVER: Halifax Water says work will begin in mid-May on the water main on Miller Lake Road in Fall River, lasting 12 weeks.
