{"id":10328,"date":"2019-05-16T12:16:08","date_gmt":"2019-05-16T15:16:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=10328"},"modified":"2019-05-16T12:16:08","modified_gmt":"2019-05-16T15:16:08","slug":"water-main-extension-project-work-beginning-may-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=10328","title":{"rendered":"Water Main Extension Project work beginning May 21."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>MILLER LAKE ROAD:<\/strong> Attention motorists, pedestrians and cyclists, Dexter Construction, on behalf ofHalifax Water will be undertaking a water main extension project on Miller Lake Road beginning on or about Tuesday, May 21.\u00a0\u00a0 During this work there will be stop and go traffic from the intersection of Highway#2\/Miller Lake Road to approximately 138 Miller Lake Road. Pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained. Hours of work will be 7 a.m. &#8211; 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, with evenings and weekends as required. The work is scheduled for completion approximately Aug. 16.  There will be occasional lane drops on Highway#2 near Miller Lake Road to allow for connection to the water main. Advance notice of this work will be provided.  Experienced  traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow around the work zone On-site personnel will maintain  communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize  disruption.
