They \ndecided to setup the radar checkpoint after receiving ongoing complaints\n around vehicles speeding in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Police say the radar sign and trailer can be seen in that area during targeted times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLower\n Sackville Detachment, Community Policing and Halifax District Traffic \nUnit are all involved in this initiative to help keep our roads safe,\u201d \nthe RCMP said in a release.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WAVERLEY: Six motorists have been charged with various Motor Vehicle Act (MVA) offences following speed radar checkpoints along Highway 2 in Waverley.
