SHUBENACADIE<\/strong>: Colchester District RCMP have identified the truck and driver from the incident that occurred on April 16 in Shubenacadie East. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 20-year-old man from Hilden was arrested without incident and charges are pending. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 16 at approximately 8 p.m., a member of Colchester District RCMP had their vehicle damaged when it was struck by a truck that was fleeing the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police officer was investigating the truck and its occupants, as it was parked behind a recycling business on Hwy. 2 in Shubenacadie. The police vehicle was “nose to nose” with the truck, and the police officer saw the driver discarding a box of beer on the lawn of the business. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The driver of the truck then backed up, and attempted to drive around the police vehicle, striking the police vehicle in the rear driver’s side. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police say the truck left the area, headed towards Stewiacke. The police officer saw two men inside the truck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 regular cab with a suspension lift kit

\u2022 roll bar
\u2022 chrome bumper<\/p>\n\n\n\n
