{"id":14389,"date":"2020-05-14T14:30:00","date_gmt":"2020-05-14T17:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=14389"},"modified":"2020-05-14T14:30:00","modified_gmt":"2020-05-14T17:30:00","slug":"lwf-hall-gets-new-patio-led-lights-installed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=14389","title":{"rendered":"LWF Hall gets new patio, LED lights installed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FALL RIVER:<\/strong> The community\u2019s gathering place is getting a bit of a fresh new look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With COVID19 restrictions forcing spots like the LWF Hall to remain closed as events are cancelled as a result of the provincial health order as part of the State of Emergency, volunteers at the community hall got to work tearing down it\u2019s old patio\/entrance and creating a new patio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;34&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;31&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/2C318CFD-5E3F-443D-BD6B-DFB4B72159FC-1024x766.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14390\"\/><figcaption>The LWF Hall as the patio project was started. (Healey photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The volunteer board gave the go ahead for the project, which will eventually see them be able to have a licensed patio for those nice hot summer nights, especially when the Lions Wing nights are back up and running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work is expected to be completed in the next few weeks, with the hope for it to be licensed soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;47&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides the outdoor patio, the Hall took advantage of being closed to do large scale renovations inside as well.&nbsp;They were approved for a provincial Environmental Grant to purchase 24 brand new technology LED ceiling lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week, they finished installing them throughout replacing the old inefficient florescent lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;6&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;7&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;25&#8243;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FALL RIVER: The community\u2019s gathering place is getting a bit of a fresh new look.
