FALL RIVER:<\/strong> Thanks to the support of the community, youth mental health at a Halifax based youth non-profit is getting some additional monetary support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HomeBridge Youth Services was recently presented a cheque for $504 from Sarah MacDonald-Miles, founder and entrepreneur with Links of Love based out of her Fall River Village home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The money was raised through Links of Love creation and sale of a Nova Scotia Strong bracelet, created in the wake of the tragic, senseless rampage in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I’m so proud to help out the mental health initiatives at HomeBridge Youth Society,” said MacDonald-Miles, a Lockview High student, in an interview with The Laker News. “My goal was to raise $500.00 dollars for mental health in Nova Scotia during the month of May with the sale of the #novascotiastrong<\/a> Link of Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I’m proud to say we were able to donate more than my goal.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s the best part? You can add to that number and make it more as N.S. Strong bracelets are still still available by request. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
