The suspect and victim were known to each other. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The victim was able to gain control over the suspect and held him down until police arrived. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No one was injured during this incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;31&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;34&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The suspect was arrested without incident and an unloaded firearm was seized from the scene. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A home was searched subsequently, resulting in the seizure of numerous weapons and a quantity of ammunition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phillip Dale Tower is charged with Uttering threats; Using a Firearm in the Commission of an Offence; Careless Use of a Firearm; Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose; and Storing Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;47&#8243;]Regulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tower was scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today, June 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation is on going<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;6&#8243;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MIDDLE SACKVILLE: A 61-year-old Middle Sackville man has been charged after a weapons complaint on June 21.
