RIVER GLADE, N.B.<\/strong>: Drivers from Shubenacadie and Enfield left Petty Raceway on Saturday bringing home checkered flags back across the N.B.\/N.S. border after picking up victories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 100 cars took to the track at Petty International Raceway in River Glade, N.B., outside Moncton, for a single-day race card on Aug. 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Braden Langille bested Cory Hall of Jolicure, N.B. and Andrew Lively across the finish line in the Legend feature, while it was Gage Gilby taking the win in the Leisure Days RV Bandolero feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the legends, Langille also took a heat race win as did Hall among the 16 cars that took the green flag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colton Noble of Nine Mile River came home in eighth place in the no. 03 Noble Racing machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile in the Bandolero division, Gilby and PEI\u2019s Tanton Wooldridge were heat race victors. There were 12 Bandoleros that took to the track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Windsor Junction\u2019s Ayden Christenson was fourth in the no. 24; Nate Singer of Kennetcook brought the no. 81 home in fifth place, while Dawson Noble of Nine Mile River crossed the finish line on 10th<\/sup> in the no. 8 Bandolero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jordan Veinotte took the main feature on the night, winning the AE MacKay Builders Late Model Sportsman, ahead of Kenny MacKenzie Jr. and Courtney O\u2019Blenis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fletchers Lake\u2019s Matt Vaughan brought the no. 08 AEROTEC Engines-Fall River Chiropractic-sponsored Sportsman home in sixth place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Mister Transmission Mini Stock 50, Fall River\u2019s Steven Matthews came home in ninth place, while Oldham\u2019s Marshall Bezanson came home in tenth after starting further back in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nine Mile River\u2019s Dave Matthews was 23rd<\/sup> and Garth Bezanson finished in 26th<\/sup> out of the 29 car field after a mechanical issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
