The win came with more than $20,000 in purse winnings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tucker led 181 of the 250 green flag laps around Speedway 660, but it all came down to a final restart between Tucker and Kyle Reid in the no. 42, who spun his tires allowing Tucker to get away and for Cole Butcher of Hantsport in the no. 53 Atlantic Tiltload-sponsored machine to sneak by for the runner-up position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt was pretty cool to pull off the back-to-back win,\u201d said Tucker, one of the rising stars on the Maritime stock car scene. \u201cThe car was solid, and we were able to get the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe car was hooked up. (Healey photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;8&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Butcher is already eyeing the Jim Hallahan 250 set for Scotia Speedworld on Sept. 12, the first Maritime Parts for Trucks Pro Stock event this year because of COVID19. The track is awaiting word from Public Health for approval of their proposed plan to allow fans in to watch in multiple bubbles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe may have some surprises for the fans,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019ve been testing there, and our piece has been fairly good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m looking forward to that race.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/IMG_3750-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16668\"\/><figcaption>Hantsport&#8217;s Cole Butcher passes Robbie MacEwen during the early laps of the 250 at Speedway 660. Twenty-seven cars entered the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dave O\u2019Blenis (Boundary Creek, NB), Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS); and Ryan Messer (Harvey, NB) took home heat race wins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brad Eddy of Lower Sackville drove the no. 17 machine to a P 23 finish.
