ENFIELD:<\/strong> Here is a look at some of the top calls for East Hants RCMP officers during the week of Sept. 15-22, as provided by S\/Sgt. Cory Bushell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RCMP responded to a theft of three bottles of liquor from the NSLC in Elmsdale on Sept. 15. Police said a woman entered the store and removed three bottles without paying for them. The investigation is ongoing.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On September 17, officers received a complaint of a possible impaired driver when beverage cans were being seen thrown out of the window of a small sedan travelling through Lantz on Hwy 2. Patrols in the area failed to locate the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Motorists are reminded to immediately report any driver they suspect are driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police were called to a store in Elmsdale on Sept. 19 where a patron was not wearing a mask, which was against the public health order directive in the province. Two members attended, but the suspect was gone on arrival.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

RCMP want to remind the public that wearing of non-medical masks as per the public health order directive is mandatory. Non-compliance could result in fines or other provisions.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On September 20, an RCMP officer observed a vehicle driving erratically near Gore. The officer stopped the vehicle and upon contact with the driver, observed signs of impairment.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The driver was subsequently charged with impaired driving. They will attend court at a later date.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

RCMP responded to a report of a gas-and-go at a gas station in Elmsdale on Sept. 20. In their report, police said a man filled up his care with gas and left without paying. The matter remains under investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
