WALTON AREA:<\/strong> Two people have been pronounced dead after a single-vehicle collision near Walton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Windsor RCMP responded to a 911 call at approximately 12:40 a.m. on Sept. 30 from a passing motorist who noticed a vehicle down in a deep ditch near the intersection of Hwy 215 and Goshen Road. Fire and EHS also responded to the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n First responders found a single vehicle was involved in a collision and two people are deceased. Investigation is in the initial stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A collision re-constructionist was called to the scene and the investigation is ongoing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Hwy 215 was closed in both directions from Bancroft Road to the east and New Cheverie Road to west.\u00a0 It has since reopened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our thoughts are with the victim’s family at this difficult time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”2″]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" WALTON AREA: Two people have been pronounced dead after a single-vehicle collision near Walton.
