{"id":17349,"date":"2020-10-15T11:43:42","date_gmt":"2020-10-15T14:43:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=17349"},"modified":"2020-10-15T11:43:42","modified_gmt":"2020-10-15T14:43:42","slug":"province-announces-covid-alert-app-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=17349","title":{"rendered":"Province announces COVID Alert App now available"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;78&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;79&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HALIFAX:<\/strong> Nova Scotians will be able to receive COVID-19 exposure alerts directly to their smartphones when using Health Canada&#8217;s free COVID Alert App.<br \/><br \/>&#8220;As a province we have all shown a steadfast commitment to flattening the curve and keeping COVID activity low,&#8221; said Premier Stephen McNeil. &#8220;As we learn to live with the virus, COVID Alert is another tool that will help keep ourselves and our communities safe and healthy.&#8221;<br \/><br \/>COVID Alert can be downloaded through the Apple or Google Play app stores.
