Food and Film Challenge for Youth for her film that discussed food and climate change. Her film took a specific look at the impact that cows have on our environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI thought I was going to finish in second or third place, but then I won,\u201d said Mimnagh, an Ash Lee Jefferson School student. \u201cIt made me happy to win. It was the best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt was so fun to do. I had a lot of fun making the video.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;31&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;30&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Video from CBC Nova Scotia<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Climate change and food | Creator Network\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/y4dR2U6JjHQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The nine-year-old is the youngest filmmaker to win the Challenge, Nourish N.S. said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She wins $500 prize to support a healthy eating program or initiative in her school or community from Nourish Nova Scotia; and a $500 GoPro kit so she can continue her filmmaking journey from CBC Nova Scotia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grace found out about the contest as her dad saw it one day when he was working on his computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI told him that I wanted to do it,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the video she talks about how Cows and the meat they produce, and how cow farts are bad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The video was a bit back-and-forth between her and sister Sarah, which made the video more humorous and down to earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe then put them together,\u201d said Grace. \u201cI got lots of ideas from watching a video on the CBC website.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;25&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;92&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;93&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said her friends have been very congratulatory in their remarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey thought the video was cool,\u201d said Grace. \u201cThey liked the cow farts.
