ENFIELD:<\/strong> Officers with East Hants RCMP responded to 75 calls for service between Nov. 18 and Nov. 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Nov. 18, members went to a residence in Rawdon for a COVID19 compliance check. Upon arrival, the subject of the check was found to not be at home and in compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police say charges are pending as a result. No further information was available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RCMP received a complaint of harassing text messages from an ex-boyfriend on Nov. 18.\u00a0 Police take these matters very seriously and upon investigation, determined there were grounds to arrest and charge the offender.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 56-year-old\u00a0Halifax man is now facing charges of Uttering Threats, Breach of undertaking and Making repeated telephone phone calls.\u00a0 He\u00a0will attend court at a later date. \u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Nov. 20, RCMP responded to a call\u00a0from the Shubenacadie area that\u00a0a suspicious male attempted to sell a late model vehicle for a value far below it’s actual worth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the buyer refused to close the deal,\u00a0the vehicle left the area only to be spotted a short time later by police. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The member attempted to turn around and stop the suspicious\u00a0vehicle, however it fled the area prior to police being able to intercept.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone with information is asked to call the East Hants RCMP. \u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police responded to the scene of a vehicle fire on Nov. 20 in the Lattie’s Brook area. The members that attended observed a seasonal RV camper had been destroyed by fire.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\/Sgt. Cory Bushell is asking anyone with information to contact the East Hants RCMP. \u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On\u00a0the evening of November 23, police received a complaint of suspicious activity behind the Milford Esso.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon police arrival, members located two males parked in a vehicle.\u00a0 The males stated they were waiting to make a Kijiji deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After some questioning, members were able to confirm the intent of the subjects was indeed to make a Kijiji deal and not suspicious in nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
