ELMSDALE:<\/strong> A Hants East Rural High Tigers women’s basketball star player will be hitting the court in Wolfville next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a Twitter post, the Acadia Axewomen announced that six-foot-one forward Sarah Delorey had officially committed to the women’s basketball team for 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With the Tigers basketball program, Delorey was a two-time NSSAF Sports provincial champion on teams coached by Chris Trainor. She was also a permanent fixture with Basketball N.S. teams during her junior high and high school years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Excited to have you travel ‘down the road’ to play with us here at Acadia, Sarah,” said the tweet from @AxewomenBB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”2″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Acadia head coach Len Harvey also commented on the news, via twitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “I’ve gotten to watch Sarah play for a while now,” said Harvey. “She’s dedicated, tough, loves the game, and has a real nose for the ball.
