{"id":18717,"date":"2020-12-13T05:56:23","date_gmt":"2020-12-13T09:56:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=18717"},"modified":"2020-12-13T05:56:23","modified_gmt":"2020-12-13T09:56:23","slug":"hauliday-toy-drive-underway-in-fall-river-elmsdale-dartmouth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=18717","title":{"rendered":"HAULiday Toy Drive underway in Fall River, Elmsdale, Dartmouth"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;93&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;94&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FALL RIVER:<\/strong> \u00a0A Fall River-owned company is trying to brighten Christmas morning for children in the HRM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Junk Works Halifax, who is an inline story advertiser with The Laker News and owned by Chris and Sherry Willison, is holding a \u201cHAULiday Toy Drive aimed at bringing smiles to less fortunate children this holiday season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTo help gain some normalcy in this unprecedented time Junk Works, Halifax&#8217;s leading eco-friendly junk removal company, is launching the \u201cHAULiday Toy Drive,\u201d said Chris Willison in an email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said that the company has partnered with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Halifax who will be making sure the community\u2019s donations of new, unwrapped toys are delivered to the many underprivileged children in Halifax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;31&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;34&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Donation toy bins are setup at:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Toys R Us &#8211; Dartmouth Crossing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Leno&#8217;s Stop Shop in Elmsdale<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fall River Chiropractic<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Most Wanted \u2013 Dartmouth<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bins will remain in place and toy donations will be accepted until Dec. 21.
