ELMSDALE<\/strong>: N.S. Public Health is advising that patrons to the Elmsdale Sobeys on two dates may have been exposed to COVID19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a release on Dec. 18, Public health said that anyone present at the following location on the specified date and time is asked to monitor for symptoms of COVID-19:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sobey\u2019s Elmsdale (269 Hwy 214, Elmsdale) on Dec. 14 between 6:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and Dec. 15 between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.<\/strong> It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 29. \u00b7 <\/p>\n\n\n\n One other location was also included in the potential exposure advisory that was issued. That was:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Apple Store \u2013 Halifax Shopping Centre (7001 Mumford Rd, Halifax) on Dec. 11 between 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.<\/strong> It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”6″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”2″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to media releases, all potential exposure notifications are now listed at http:\/\/www.nshealth.ca\/covid-exposures<\/a>.<\/strong> Besides these, anyone who was on the following flight in the specified rows\/seats is asked to continue to self-isolate and immediately visit <\/strong>https:\/\/covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca\/en<\/a> to book a COVID-19 test, regardless of whether or not they have COVID-19 symptoms. You can also call 811 if you don\u2019t have online access or if you have other symptoms that concern you.<\/strong> All other passengers on this flight should continue to self-isolate as required and monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 25. <\/strong> OR<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please do not go directly to a COVID-19 assessment centre without being directed to do so and do not go to a pop-up rapid testing location. \u00b7 Air Canada flight #614 travelling on Dec. 11 from Toronto (1:55 p.m.) to Halifax (5:55 p.m.). <\/strong>Passengers in rows 24 to 30, in seats D, E, F are asked to continue to self-isolate and visit https:\/\/covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca\/en<\/a> to book a COVID-19 test, regardless of whether or not they have COVID-19 symptoms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, anyone travelling to Nova Scotia from outside of the Atlantic Provinces is expected to self-isolate alone for 14 days after arriving. If a person travelling for non-essential reasons enters Nova Scotia from outside Atlantic Canada, then everyone in the home where they are self-isolating will have to self-isolate as well.
