Cory Bushell said that officers were delivering Christmas rewards to motorists thanks to an anonymous business owner from the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe merchant, looking to spread cheer and create smiles this holiday season, came to the detachment with $1,400 in $50 gift cards\u00a0and asked that the members pass them out during their interactions with the public,\u201d said S\/Sgt. Bushell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;2&#8242;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The officers were thrilled to reward those they \u201ccaught in the act.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHappy to oblige, the elves in blue handed out gift cards to those they &#8220;caught in the act&#8221; of good behaviour,\u201d said S\/Sgt.
