Cory Bushell said RCMP were notified by 911 that a van had crashed into a ditch near a residence in the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe driver was attended to by local residents and appeared to be impaired,\u201d said S\/Sgt. Bushell. \u201cThey\u00a0took his keys and instructed him to stay put while awaiting police arrival.\u00a0\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;96&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation revealed the driver, the lone occupant of the vehicle, was indeed under the influence at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was charged with impaired driving and will be facing court at a later date, said S\/Sgt.
