SHUBENACADIE:<\/strong> A 37-year-old Elmsvale man has been charged with assault with a weapon following an early morning stabbing that took place in Shubenacadie on Feb. 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cpl. Lisa Croteau with N.S. RCMP said that at about 2 a.m., Colchester County RCMP responded to the stabbing call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cPolice located the victim, a 38-year-old man from Upper Stewiacke, at the hospital with non life-threatening injuries,\u201d said Cpl. Croteau. \u201cThe investigation revealed that the altercation occurred between two people following an argument, while travelling in a vehicle on Hwy. 2.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”113″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”2″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n She said there were two other people in the vehicle at the time of the incident and no one else was injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cA short time later, the suspect was located at a home in Shubenacadie and was arrested without incident,\u201d she said. \u201cBoth the victim and the suspect are known to each other.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”6″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cpl.
