FALL RIVER:<\/strong> The MP for Sackville-Preston-Chezzetcook has confirmed he will run in the next federal election\u2014whenever it may be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Darrell Samson told The Laker News in an interview on Feb. 18 he\u2019s putting his name forward to run again. He\u2019d like to get more work done. That\u2019s his main reason for seeking re-election from his constituents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI have to go another round,\u201d said Samson. \u201cA minority government you know that you can\u2019t bank on a specific date, and I don\u2019t know when that date will be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2019m ready to do one more term.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”31″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”6″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n He said in the past five-plus years he has found the job to be rewarding as they helped Canadians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe have a government that is investing in Canadians,\u201d he said. \u201cThat has been very positive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Samson said while there are some things he has accomplished in his time as MP for the area, which includes Fall River\/Waverley\/Beaver Bank, there\u2019s more he has left to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThere\u2019s some things hanging, and I\u2019d like to get those accomplished and over the finish line before I do anything different.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”7″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”34″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”92″]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" [adrotate banner=”95″] [adrotate banner=”105″] FALL RIVER: The MP for Sackville-Preston-Chezzetcook has confirmed he will run in the next federal election\u2014whenever it may be.
