ENFIELD:<\/strong> The late Const. Heidi Stevenson, who was stationed with East Hants RCMP in Enfield, has been named one of Canada\u2019s Most Powerful Women by Women\u2019s Executive Network. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Every year, the national organization selects 100 women to receive the award, which recognizes \u201cwomen who personify what it means to be powerful through the way they empower and champion others, influence change and stand up for all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n N.S. RCMP Commanding Officer, A\/Commr. Bergerman, presented the award to Heidi\u2019s husband, Dean, at their home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Family Liaison Officers Cpl. Randy Slawter and Cpl. Ron Robinson were also there for the presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”2″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Heidi\u2019s submission reads: \u201cHeidi Stevenson was an active mom, a loving wife, a dedicated daughter and a cherished friend. She led her life with kindness and compassion and confidently stood up for what she believed in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Whether volunteering at the school, planning bake sales or coaching rugby, her passion for people and community shone brightly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Heidi served as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for 23 years and tragically lost her life in the line of duty in April 2020.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”111″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”96″]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" [adrotate banner=”78″] [adrotate banner=”113″] ENFIELD: The late Const.
