MOUNT UNIACKE:<\/strong> RCMP are investigating after a counterfeit $100 bill was presented on March 7 at a Mount Uniacke gas station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\/Sgt. Cory Bushell, with the Enfield detachment of East Hants RCMP, said the bill had distinctive markings which would normally alert a cashier the bill was a fake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHowever, the markings were concealed with painter\u2019s tape,\u201d said S\/Sgt. Bushell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said the suspect is described as a white female in her 20\u2019s with dark brown hair and a dark jacket, driving a silver two-door Hyundai Accent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe suspect used the bill to purchase cigarettes,\u201d said S\/Sgt. Bushell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\/Sgt. Bushell said anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect or the origin of the bill is asked to call the East Hants RCMP at 902-883-7077.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
