WAVERLEY:<\/strong> The Waverley Community Association (WCA) is looking for a few good women and men from its community to join the non-profit, volunteer organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a post on its Facebook page, the WCA says residents can help them continue to make a difference in their community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WCA will be hosting their AGM in June, tentatively scheduled for June 9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents can join the executive, or one of their subcommittees. There is minimal time commitment required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They\u2019re asking fellow residents to spread the word in the Waverley area community of the need for community volunteers to join them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt would be great to have an amazing team with varying talents, like persons interested in events, safety, marketing, IT, accounting, property maintenance, law and environment,\u201d the WCA post said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTruly all that is required is a passion to better the community we live in.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
