said Finance and Treasury Board Minister Labi Kousoulis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Infrastructure is also an important part of the province&#8217;s economic recovery following the pandemic.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;31&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;34&#8243;]<br \/><br \/>Highlights of the plan include:<br \/>&#8212; $178.2 million to support the QEII New Generation project and the Cape Breton Regional Municipality Health Care Redevelopment<br \/>&#8212; $95.5 million for construction, repair and renewal of other hospitals and medical facilities<br \/>&#8212; $22.4 million to replace medical equipment and ambulances<br \/>&#8212; $217.2 million to design, build, renovate and purchase schools<br \/><br \/>Capital Plan 2021-22 also includes $467 million in investments outlined in the Department of Transportation and Active Transit&#8217;s Five-year Highway Improvement Plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;6&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;2&#8243;]<br \/><br \/>Quick Facts:<br \/>&#8212; Capital Plan 2021-22 includes the continued design and construction of 15 schools, the demolition of one former site (Duncan Macmillan High School), and the purchase of the last four P-3 schools<br \/>&#8212;
