{"id":20415,"date":"2021-03-23T14:56:08","date_gmt":"2021-03-23T17:56:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=20415"},"modified":"2021-03-23T14:56:08","modified_gmt":"2021-03-23T17:56:08","slug":"adjournment-granted-in-case-involving-five-mile-river-man","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=20415","title":{"rendered":"Adjournment granted in case involving Five Mile River man"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;113&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;111&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SHUBENACADIE:<\/strong> An adjournment was requested by the lawyer for a Five Mile River man charged with child pornography offences in late 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In late November 2020, an investigation began by Halifax District RCMP and the RCMP\/HRP Integrated Sexual Assault Investigation Team (SAIT) following a report of&nbsp;a man possessing child pornography.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On December 16, 2020,\u00a0the RCMP searched a home in Five Mile River, assisted by the Halifax Regional Police (HRP) Digital Forensics Unit, RCMP Provincial Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit, and East Hants RCMP.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;96&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;2&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, Colin Wesley Pynn, 42, has been charged with: Possession of Child Pornography; Making Child Pornography; and Sexual Interference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The adjournment was granted.
