{"id":21057,"date":"2021-04-26T20:24:15","date_gmt":"2021-04-26T23:24:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=21057"},"modified":"2021-04-26T20:24:15","modified_gmt":"2021-04-26T23:24:15","slug":"high-school-students-from-mount-uniacke-can-continue-at-avonview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=21057","title":{"rendered":"High school students from Mount Uniacke can continue at Avonview"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;111&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;78&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MOUNT UNIACKE:<\/strong> While students at Uniacke &amp; District Elementary School will begin to learn from home on April 29, high school students from the community won\u2019t be as lucky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the April 28 COVID19 press briefing, Dr. Robert Strang, chief medical officer of health for N.S., and Premier Iain Rankin announced all HRM public schools and those in the restricted zones, including Mount Uniacke; Enfield; Elmsdale; Lantz; and Milford, and CSAP schools, would close until at least May 7. Online learning would begin April 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This impacts CCRCE-run Hants East Rural High; Riverside Education Centre; Maple Ridge Elementary; Enfield District; Uniacke District School; and Elmsdale District School.
