ENFIELD:<\/strong> East Hants RCMP responded to 92 calls for service during the period of April 20 to April 27 throughout the Municipality of East Hants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here are a couple of the highlighted calls in the weekly column, as provided by East Hants RCMP S\/Sgt. Cory Bushell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On April 20, East Hants members responded to a complaint in Latties Brook of goats on the loose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The complainant was worried about the goats being hit by traffic as they are \u201cvery social\u201d and frequently cross the road in interact with the public at a local venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Police made sure the goats safely got back home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Over the past week, officers responded to four reports of residents breaching health guidelines as it relates to COVID-19, said S\/Sgt. Bushell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cFortunately, all was found to be in order,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Residents are reminded the spread of COVID-19 is a serious health, social, and economic threat to us all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Police are being vigilant to uphold the guidelines and hold those accountable who choose to put themselves and others at unnecessary risk of infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Off highway vehicle complaints were up this week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAs a result, proactive efforts will be made to curtail unlawful activities,\u201d said S\/Sgt.
