Cory Bushell said police were alerted Oct. 3 to a Dodge Charger heading southbound on Highway 102 toward East Hants travelling at a high rate of speed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPolice were told the driver was struggling to maintain his lane, hitting the yellow lane and the gravel,\u201d said S\/Sgt. Bushell. \u201cThe car was quickly intercepted by members and pulled over.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;145&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;2&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the investigation, the officer detected the driver was impaired. The driver was ordered to conduct a road side screening test which he failed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis resulted in his arrest and transport to the Enfield Detachment where breath samples were obtained and confirmed he was impaired by alcohol,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\/Sgt.
