Cory Bushell said that police received a complaint that a small sedan was brake checking another vehicle, a transport truck, on Hwy 102 near exit 9 Milford. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle but did speak with the owner by phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt had been raining hard at the time and the driver stated he was driving slow, and the transport truck was behind him flashing the headlights,\u201d said S\/Sgt. Bushell. \u201cThe driver was cautioned.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;2&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;78&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He reminded motorists that brake checking is the practice of tapping ones brakes and or braking hard for a moment in order to deter another driver from tailgating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brake checking is extremely dangerous and illegal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\/Sgt.
