NOEL SHORE:<\/strong> Seven fire departments from across East Hants were paged out to an early-morning structure fire in Noel Shore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fire chief Wayne Greene said firefighters heard the tones go off at approximately 1 a.m. on Dec. 4 for the house fire on Hwy 215 in Noel Shore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cUpon arrival, we found a bungalow that was fully involved,\u201d said Greene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mutual aid fire response was provided by an estimated 35 firefighters from Kennetcook; Maitland; Gore; Rawdon; Lantz; and Elmsdale fire departments. East Hants RCMP; EHS; and the Department of Public Works were also on scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”2″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”111″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Greene said there was no one home at the time of the fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOur attack was fully defensive,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He said the fire was under control by 3:30 a.m., with overhaul being complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The cause of the fire is unknown, said Greene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It was one of two fires the department responded too.
