NINE MILE RIVER<\/strong>: Here is a look at the fire calls for local volunteer fire departments in Stewiacke; Nine Mile River; Elmsdale; Lantz; Enfield; Milford; Indian Brook; and Kennetcook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was no information provided from Shubenacadie or Mount Uniacke fire this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nine Mile River fire<\/strong> responded to five calls in November, led by three mutual aid to a neighbouring department calls; one mvc; and one medical assist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Elmsdale Fire<\/strong>, they were toned out for 20 calls, led by 11 medical assists. They also had four mvc\u2019s; two alarm activations; one fire investigation; one fire call; and one flue fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lantz Fire<\/strong> responded to 17 calls in November, with that tally led by 10 medical assists. The firefighters also had two alarm activations; two structure fires; one mvc; one chimney fire; and one suspicious odour call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Enfield Fire<\/strong>, they heard the sounds of their people a total of 16 times during the past month, led by eight mvc\u2019s. They also had two power lines arcing calls; two mutual aid to a neighbouring department calls; two brush fires; one alarm activation; and one medical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Milford Fire<\/strong> was paged out for five calls in November.  That list included three mvc\u2019s; two medical assists; and assisting Indian Brook fire and Shubenacadie fire with a structure fire in Indian Brook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Indian Brook fire<\/strong>, they responded to two calls. One was a mutual aid call to the structure fire in Shubenacadie and one was for an mvc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stewiacke Fire<\/strong> responded to 15 calls in November, led by seven mvc\u2019s. They also had four medical assists; one commercial fire alarm activation; one fire investigation; one mutual aid structure fire call to Brookfield and one to Indian Brook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Kennetcook fire<\/strong>, they had three calls last month. They were single calls to a shed fire; mutual aid mvc call; and a medical assist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
