GRAND LAKE:<\/strong> The LWF Baseball Association has the funds it needs to purchase a tractor for maintenance at a pair of community ball fields and roadways into them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Recently, Jay Cameron, the chairman of the LWF (Lakeview-Windsor Junction-Fall River) Ratepayers Association (LWFRA), was in Grand Lake to present Barry Dalrymple, treasurer with the LWF Baseball Association with a cheque for $2,000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The presentation was done after the LWFRA made a cheque donation towards the Grand Lake\/Oakfield skating ice rink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”31″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”34″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cameron said the LWFRA is pleased to support LWF Baseball with the purchase of its new tractor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n “Baseball continues to grow in popularity in our area,” said Cameron. “On any given summer night, the sounds of children playing echos through our neighbourhood.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n He said it’s great to be able to help the baseball association, run by community volunteers, ensure access to the games is made for all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n “The LWFRA sees meaningful returns in helping LWF Baseball expand access to the game for our families.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”78″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”111″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”84″]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" [adrotate banner=”126″] [adrotate banner=”93″] GRAND LAKE: The LWF Baseball Association has the funds it needs to purchase a tractor for maintenance at a pair of community ball fields and roadways into them.
