MILFORD<\/strong>: Public health sent a letter home to parents\/guardians of students at Hants East Rural High (HERH) on Dec. 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the letter, public health said the exposure at HERH took place on Dec. 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “At this time, we do not believe this is the result of transmission (spread) in the school setting,” Public Health said in the letter. “We are working with the Chignecto\u0002Central Regional Centre for Education and the school to make sure all steps are taken to protect students and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”2″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”147″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Public Health will identify and send a separate letter to anyone who may have been exposed as a close contact. Public Health is not recommending additional measures at this time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 A new or worsening cough
OR two or more of the following:
\u2022 Fever (chills, sweats)
\u2022 Runny nose\/nasal congestion
\u2022 Sore throat
\u2022 Headache
\u2022 Shortness of breath (difficulty breathing)
Keep following public health guidelines to help lower the spread of the virus:
\u2022 Wear your mask in all indoor spaces, as required.
\u2022 Wash your hands often with soap and water.
\u2022 Complete the online assessment (link above) for new or worsening symptoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
