Contract ends five-year hiatus at Halifax Stanfield; will employ <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n upwards of 65 c<\/strong><\/em>ommissionaires in frontline, customer service role<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n HALIFAX STANFIELD:<\/strong> Commissionaires Nova Scotia (CNS) is back at Halifax Stanfield International Airport after securing a multi-year contract to provide Parking and Curbside Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Services officially commenced this week, with CNS providing staff to support daily operations for all groundside parking areas, including the parkade, terminal exterior parking lot, remote parking lots, staff employee lots, and Park \u2019N Fly, when services resume. Up to 65 commissionaires will be employed at the site. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe\u2019re pleased to welcome the Commissionaires back to Halifax Stanfield,\u201d said Glen Boone, Director, Cargo and Real Estate at Halifax International Airport Authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTheir team will play an important role in maintaining the positive experience we\u2019re known for at Halifax Stanfield, by supporting passengers who use our parking and curbside services.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”31″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”6″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n The return to Halifax Stanfield marks a homecoming of sorts for CNS, who first began providing security services to the airport while it was under construction and continued to do so for over 50 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A leader in public safety and customer service, CNS is proud to again be partnering with Halifax Stanfield as the airport and airlines begin their comeback from the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe have spent the past few years making CNS into a world-class security provider, leveraging technology and focusing on skills training,\u201d said Geoff Hamilton, CEO, Commissionaires Nova Scotia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”34″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”123″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe look forward to applying our new tools and mindset at the airport, which has been such a big part of Commissionaires\u2019 identity in Nova Scotia for the past 60 years.
