LANTZ:<\/strong> The East Hants Junior B Penguins are one win away from eliminating rival Brookfield Elks from the NSJHL post-season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In game two Friday night at the East Hants Sportsplex in Lantz, the Pens led 4-1 after two periods and controlled the bulk of the action. Game three in the best-of-five Fred Fox playoff series goes Saturday night March 5 in Brookfield. Game time is 7 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On home ice, five different goal scorers bulged the twine behind the Elks goaltender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A.J. Guildford\u2019s second period power-play goal stood as the game winner in the contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assists went to Gavin McCready and Morgan Lake with two assists each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marcus Pettipas stopped 33 of 35 shots sent his way in the victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game featured 46 penalty minutes, 30 of them to the Elks, including a misconduct and game misconduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
