Cory Bushell said police received a complaint of a possible impaired driver on highway 14 near Milford on March 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe caller witnessed a Honda Civic leave the roadway, drive into a ditch and smash into a culvert,\u201d said S\/Sgt. Bushell. \u201cTo the caller\u2019s surprise, the driver then attempted to drive the smashed vehicle out of the ditch.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;78&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;2&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said police arrived shortly thereafter and arrested the driver, a 23-year-old Elmsdale man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The driver provided samples of his breath in excess of the legal limit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\/Sgt.
