Applications are available at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.halifax.ca\/serve\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">halifax.ca\/serve<\/a> and will be accepted until Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 11:59 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Municipal boards, committees, and commissions consist of councillors, residents, and industry representatives. These groups provide recommendations to Regional Council, community council, or standing committees, and serve as an important part of the decision-making process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The municipality is seeking board, committee and commission members that are reflective and inclusive of residents from the Halifax Regional Municipality.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;31&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;34&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meeting schedules and formats will vary between committees, please consult <a href=\"https:\/\/www.halifax.ca\/serve\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">halifax.ca\/serve<\/a> for details on each committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following committees, boards and commissions are seeking new members:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Board of Police Commissioners<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Community Liaison Committee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Community Monitoring Committee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grants Committee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Halifax Harbour Bridges Board of Commissioners<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Halifax Regional Library Board<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heritage Advisory Committee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Metropolitan Regional Housing Authority<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>North West Planning Advisory Committee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regional Watersheds Advisory Board<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shubenacadie Canal Commission<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Western Common Advisory Committee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Women&#8217;s Advisory Committee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;6&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;123&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your support of this recruitment helps amplify the call for residents to serve.
