LANTZ:<\/strong> The Lantz Volunteer Fire Department held their annual awards banquet on April 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a chance for the department to recognize the achievements and accomplishments of their firefighters for the 2021-2022 year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides the yearly awards, the department also recognized members for their long-service to the East Hants department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following are firefighter award recipients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firefighter of the Year: Sam Abbott<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officer of the Year: Mark A. Frizzell <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fellowship: Douglas Hankinson <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most Improved: Sam Abbott<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Junior Firefighter of the Year: Dawson Paul and Ben Nockles<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10 years:<\/strong> Bill Medicraft<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five years:<\/strong> Graham Scott<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five years:<\/strong> Josh Nockles<\/p>\n\n\n\n
