{"id":31016,"date":"2022-08-30T10:34:19","date_gmt":"2022-08-30T13:34:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=31016"},"modified":"2022-08-30T10:34:19","modified_gmt":"2022-08-30T13:34:19","slug":"middle-sackville-man-charged-in-hardware-store-break-in","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=31016","title":{"rendered":"Middle Sackville man charged in hardware store break-in"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;95&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;169&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LOWER SACKVILLE:<\/strong> A 37-year-old Middle Sackville man has been arrested following a break-and-enter at a hardware store in Lower Sackville,.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RCMP say that on Aug. 26 at approximately 2:15 a.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a break-in that was actively occurring in the lumber yard of a hardware store on Sackville Dr. in Lower Sackville. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;RCMP officers immediately responded to the area and could hear someone inside the lumber yard,&#8221; said Cpl. Chris Marshall. &#8220;Two RCMP officers climbed the fence and entered the lumber yard in search of the suspect. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;31&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;127&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cpl. Marshall said after a few minutes of search, the RCMP officers located the suspect hiding behind merchandise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The suspect was safely arrested and transported to the Lower Sackville Detachment,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The man was later released on conditions and will appear in court at a later date.
