{"id":31113,"date":"2022-09-02T10:43:09","date_gmt":"2022-09-02T13:43:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=31113"},"modified":"2022-09-02T10:43:09","modified_gmt":"2022-09-02T13:43:09","slug":"road-work-set-for-phillip-drive-sept-6-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=31113","title":{"rendered":"Road work set for Phillip Drive Sept. 6-8"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;127&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;93&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FALL RIVER: <\/strong>HRM is advising of upcoming road work set to take place on a street in Schwarzwald subdivision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a notice sent out to media, the municipality said the road construction will occur on Phillip Drive from Short Lane to Howe Avenue between Tuesday Sept. 6 to Thursday Sept. 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;31&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;6&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to HRM, this work includes removal and paving.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project supports the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.halifax.ca\/sites\/default\/files\/documents\/city-hall\/budget-finances\/2021%20StrategicPrioritesPlan_Final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan<\/a> to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;72&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The impact on traffic will be between Philip Drive from Short Lane to Howe Avenue. \u00a0Those streets will be closed while work is underway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Motorists are advised to use alternative routes when possible.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HRM said marked detours will be in place.\u00a0Pedestrian and local traffic access will remain in place during this closure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;169&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;174&#8243;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;127&#8243;] [adrotate banner=&#8221;93&#8243;] FALL RIVER: HRM is advising of upcoming road work set to take place on a street in Schwarzwald subdivision.
