Jared Ryan, with East Hants RCMP, said police were called numerous times on the dangerous driving by a motorist on Hwy 214 in Elmsdale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said an older silver Nissan Altima was witnessed by several community members driving erratically in a dangerous manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPolice attempted to stop the vehicle however it fled from police,\u201d said Cpl. Ryan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;2&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;161&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Police did not pursue the vehicle further, he said, explaining why police took that route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDue to an increased traffic risk, police did not pursue the vehicle and are following up as the driver was known to police,\u2019 said Cpl.
