Preston Burns, with East Hants RCMP, said police received a report of a suspicious item that a child had dug up on the ocean floor at low tide at Burntcoat Head Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe caller described the item as looking like a bomb,\u2019 said Const. Burns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;2&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;111&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The staff at the park closed the park to the public. The closure was posted on their Facebook page but didn\u2019t say why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The park was closed until it was later determined to be a \u201cdecoy\u201d and didn\u2019t contain active ammunition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Const.
