NINE MILE RIVER:<\/strong>A 37-year-old Rawdon man will appear in court in November after being stopped by East Hants RCMP on Sept. 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n East Hants RCMP Const. Preston Burns, the community policing officer, said officers were conducting patrols in Nine Mile River when the stop happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe officer witnessed a truck pull off the road and on to the shoulder,\u201d said Const. Burns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe officer stopped to ask if the driver needed assistance.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”2″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”115″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n He said after brief conversation the officer discovered some wrongdoings that led to further investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt was discovered that the driver had a revoked driver\u2019s licence, no registration and no insurance,\u201d said Const. Burns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The man was issued several summary offence tickets as a result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Const. Burns said the man is scheduled to appear in court in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”190″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Overall for the week, Const.
