Garner, retired chair (2021) of the ICF Canoe Sprint Committee, and Executive member of the International Canoe Federation, was inducted into the Maritime Sport Hall of Fame. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”190″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”84″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Garner was the Chief canoe official for 3 Olympic games in 2000, 2004 and 2008, a technical official in Olympics (canoeing) for 2012, 2016 and 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n He was also the Director of Sport for the regional Commonwealth Games bids in 2006 and 2007.
