EAST HANTS:<\/strong> An update on road work underway in the East Hants area was provided by Hants East MLA John A. MacDonald.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The update was posted by MacDonald on his Facebook page on Oct. 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Enfield Road was repaired on Friday (Oct 20).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hwy 102 paving north of Exit 8 is still on going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Route 202 (Rawdon) Culvert<\/p>\n\n\n\n The repaving of the Route 202 (Rawdon) culvert is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”2″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”84″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Route 236 (Stanley) Culvert<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe are currently waiting on contractor availability to complete the Route 236 (Stanley) culvert repaving,\u201d said MacDonald. \u201cThis work along with the remaining asphalt repair work will be completed as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Horne Settlement Road Culvert<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The design work and environmental analysis required for the replacement of the Horne Settlement Road culverts is still underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOnce finished we will be applying to NSECC \/ DFO for emergency approval to complete the replacement outside of the typical June 1- September 30 environmental timeframe,\u201d added MacDonald.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hydes Bridge Replacement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The replacement of this bridge is progressing.
