{"id":39874,"date":"2023-10-26T04:03:43","date_gmt":"2023-10-26T07:03:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=39874"},"modified":"2023-10-26T04:03:43","modified_gmt":"2023-10-26T07:03:43","slug":"lancaster-kennedy-hannaford-langille-earn-aus-womens-soccer-all-star-nods","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=39874","title":{"rendered":"Lancaster, Kennedy, Hannaford, Langille earn AUS women&#8217;s soccer all star nods"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;115&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;84&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FALL RIVER:<\/strong> Four soccer players from the Fall River\/Enfield area have been named Atlantic University Sport women\u2019s soccer all stars for the 2023 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rookie Ellie Lancaster of Fall River, who plays with the CBU Capers\u2019 Syd Kennedy of Fletchers Lake, who laces up her sneakers with Acadia Axewomen; and Grace Hannaford of Enfield, who laces up with the CBU Capers and Memorial Seahawk Claire Langille of Windsor Junction earned recognition from the AUS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lancaster, Kennedy, and Hannaford were named first team all stars, while Langille was a second team all star selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;92&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;8&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kennedy recorded 12 goals and three assists in the 12 games she played, 11 of which she started for the Axewomen in her rookie campaign in AUS play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hannaford, the AUS rookie of the year in 2022, had six goals in 12 games played, all of which she started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She also added 10 assists to finish with 16 points on the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/F9Sh6FFWUAAhk0G-1024x716.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-39875\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">AUS first team all stars include Lancaster, Hannaford, and Kennedy.
