These kids often experience barriers to Trick-or-Treating and joining in the fun with their friends and family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Little tweaks to one\u2019s Halloween routine can make this holiday more enjoyable and inclusive for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s what took place along Carmel Crescent in Fall River, and from all accounts\u2014and the looks on those participating with disabilities&#8211;everyone enjoyed the fun event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sarah Moore spoke about why she participated in the event<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Kids with disabilities may experience barriers to Halloween in the way it is traditionally put on,&#8221; said Moore. &#8220;Our Crescent wanted to participate in Treat Accessibly, an event that was first started in 2017 by the Padulo family to help make Halloween available and inclusive for everyone.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_2578-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40140\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Some of the accessible Halloween participants were captured trick or treating at the start.
