Atlantic Canada may be above temperature at times and experience icy temperatures\u00a0as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While winter debuts on December 21, cold temperatures will possibly blow in before then \u2013 &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.farmersalmanac.com\/what-are-meteorological-seasons-vs-astronomical-seasons\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">meteorological winter<\/a>&nbsp;starts on December 1.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;Farmers\u2019 Almanac&nbsp;Winter, 2024 Extended Weather&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.farmersalmanac.com\/canadian-extended-forecast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Forecast<\/a>&nbsp;for Canada says traditional winter&nbsp;weather is coming back. Very cold temperatures and lots of BRRRs are expected for much of the country.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Atlantic Canada, the coldest periods are in mid-November, early December, and early to mid-February. Precipitation will be above normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The snowiest periods will be in December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00a0ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;194&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;31&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2023&nbsp;has already been a record-breaking year for expensive weather and climate disasters in Canada.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Catastrophe Indices and Quantification Inc.
