Power activating Emergency Operations Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;169&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;188&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HALIFAX:<\/strong> Nova Scotia Power will be opening its Emergency Operations Centre on Monday, (December 11) at 9am<br \/>ahead of the approaching weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBased on the latest weather forecasts we are expecting rain and high winds for long durations to move across<br \/>the province starting Monday morning,\u201d said Matt Drover, Nova Scotia Power\u2019s Storm Lead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have decided to activate our Emergency Operations Centre to best coordinate planning for our storm response.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;34&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;7&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EOC is staffed with employees from across the company.
